How it started.
When I was young crayons and pencils were where I got my start. Eventually I was fortunate enough to come across digital drawing tablets, and after that my world changed and you could not get me off of my computer.
After so many years of trying to push myself to learn the different disciplines of perspective, color, anatomy. I started pursuing courses at Maricopa Community College, and I found myself growing as an artist. Albeit still with my own struggles and shortcomings. Graduating with a Associates in Art confirmed in my eyes that I had some potential, but it wasn't the end of my growth. Since then I have been working on projects both personal and professional to continue to push my style and create works of art that speaks to the time I have spent working on painting my cool dragon OC's.
Getting Serious.
My approach to Illustration has always been to express myself and my various interests. I found myself painting landscapes, portraits, characters, knights in shining armor, castles, video games, abstract art, the list goes on and on. I wanted to capture the essence of what I found fascinating, and make my ideas come to reality.
After having a little more time to learn to appreciate the mundane moments of the day, I found a little more color in my day. Which I have been driven to add that color I see into my art pieces. Pushing me to learn more about color theory and how to incorporate into my illustrations, and I can say it has been a hoot to learn.
